Come and spend a few months with us at Long Track Pantry in Jugiong, NSW.

We regularly welcome working holiday makers to our team and offer opportunities across our production kitchen, café and front of house. We’re looking for friendly, hardworking people who are keen to settle in, become part of our team and experience life in a beautiful little Australian country town.

Our working holiday positions are generally full-time, with stays of around 3–6 months preferred.

Why work with us?

Long Track Pantry is a busy food, café and retail business in the village of Jugiong, located just off the Hume Highway between Canberra and Wagga Wagga.

Depending on your role, you might be working with our café and front-of-house team, helping customers in our retail store, or joining our production kitchen where we make our award-winning range of jams, relishes, chutneys, sauces, dressings and other pantry products.

You’ll work alongside a friendly team, meet plenty of locals and travellers, and get the chance to experience a very different side of Australia from the major cities.

What we offer

Full-time work
Our working holiday positions generally offer consistent, full-time hours.

Accommodation
Accommodation is available for our working holiday team, making the move to Jugiong much easier.

A great team
You’ll become part of an established local business with a busy, welcoming workplace and a great mix of people.

A regional Australian experience
Live and work in a small country village while still being within easy reach of Canberra, Wagga Wagga and the Hume Highway.

Stay for a while
We ideally look for people who can commit to at least 3 months, with many positions suitable for stays of up to 6 months.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people who are positive, reliable and ready to get involved.

You’ll need to have good spoken English and your own car, as public transport options in our area are limited.

Previous hospitality, food production or customer service experience is helpful, but it isn’t essential for every role. A good attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important to us.

Couples and friends travelling together are also welcome to get in touch, particularly when we have multiple positions available.

Production Kitchen Assistant – Immediate Start
Full-time position working with our production team making, bottling, labelling and packing our Long Track Pantry range.

Front of House – 2 Positions
Full-time positions within our busy café and retail team.
